- Baby Boomers are aging and many Millennials are tasked with providing or finding care for ailing family members.
- Some studies indicate that that “there may be as many as a half a million Americans under age 65 who have dementia or a cognitive impairment at a level of severity consistent with dementia.”
- People of Color and members of the LGBTQ community face tremendous obstacles including income disparities, unequal access to quality healthcare, and cultural biases. We want to make OT2C an inclusive and culturally competent space.
We may not be able to fix all of society’s problems, but we hope to make the obstacles a bit easier to navigate.
